The same order every time, so nothing is opened and nothing is charged before you have seen the figure and said yes.

  1. 01

    Rule out Cooling Off mode

Samsung refrigerators have a showroom mode that lights the panel and does not cool. It gets switched on at home by accident, and it produces a cabinet that looks perfectly alive and is warm. It is free to clear and it is checked first.

  2. 02

    Measure both compartments

Actual temperatures, not what the display claims. Which compartment is warm, and by how much, decides everything that follows.

  3. 03

    Airflow and the two fans

Samsung publishes codes for both evaporator fans and the usual cause is ice rather than a dead motor. A frozen fan and a failed fan look identical from outside and cost differently.

  4. 04

Defrost, then the seal, then the sealed system

In that order. Most calls end before the last one, and the last one is measured before it is priced.

    Samsung refrigerator repair in Miami

The largest part of what Samsung sells in this country, and the appliance behind most of the calls we take on this badge. Seventy-seven of them are in Samsung's own catalog right now, fifty-one of those Bespoke, and the majority of what goes wrong in a South Florida kitchen is not the sealed system — it is ice, water, a fan that has frozen up, or a door that stopped sealing in a house where the air is wet nine months of the year.

    • Family Hub screens, and the self-check that lists the codes

  • A tall single-door upright freezer standing against the wall of a utility room with its door open, the interior shelves empty and lit by their own cool white light, throwing a rectangle of light across a concrete floor.
Convertible upright · the freezer half of a French door · FlexZone drawers

    Samsung freezer repair in Miami

Samsung's freezing happens in three different places, and only one of them is a freezer you can buy on its own. Most of the freezer work we do on this badge is inside a refrigerator: the freezer compartment of a French door, a FlexZone drawer switched over to freeze, or the bottom of a bottom-freezer cabinet. All three fail differently, and none of them has a code table of its own.

    • The freezer half of French door, side-by-side and bottom-freezer cabinets
    • FlexZone and 4-Door Flex compartments that convert to freezing
    • The convertible upright, which Samsung sells as a standalone

About Samsung refrigerator not cooling repair

The order of elimination, and why it is that order

Mode first, because on this make there is one that lights the whole panel and does not cool. Then the load and the vents, because a packed cabinet misses temperature with nothing broken. Then the gaskets, then the two fans Samsung publishes codes for, then the defrost circuit, then the condenser, then the sealed system. Five of those seven are cheap or free, and in this city most of these calls end inside the first five.
