### One cabinet, two machines — or one machine doing two jobs

A FlexWash has a second, smaller washer beneath the main one, each with its own door, drain and control path. An all-in-one combo washes and then dries in the same drum, which means the drying side inherits every water problem the washing side has. Both report codes with a leading digit that says which half is speaking, and reading that correctly is what stops us opening the wrong one.
