# Samsung wall ovens

### Same electronics, different job

Samsung’s wall ovens share the range’s control platform, its Flex Duo partition and its published code list — which is why *-dE-*, *door*, *C-24* and *C-F0* mean the same things here. What differs is everything physical: the cabinet, the trim, the weight, and whether the unit can be pulled forward at all without taking the surround apart.

### Microwave combination cabinets

Seven of the twenty-one pair an oven with a microwave in one opening. Those carry both code tables — the range list for the oven half and the microwave’s own C- and E- codes for the other — and an error in one half regularly presents as the whole cabinet being dead, because they share a supply and a control.

### Steam Cook

Adds a water reservoir, a line and a steam generator to the list. Scale is the usual enemy, and in South Florida it arrives faster than the manual assumes.

### Does a wall oven cost more to repair than a range?

Often, and it is not the part — it is getting to it. A range rolls out. A wall oven is fitted into a cabinet, sometimes stacked, sometimes with a microwave above it, and pulling it far enough forward to reach the back is a job in itself before any diagnosis begins. We tell you that before we start rather than after.

### The temperature is off. Can it be calibrated?

Usually, and it is worth doing before anyone talks about parts. Ovens drift, and they drift more than people expect over ten years. We measure actual cavity temperature against the set point and give you the number, and if the offset is within what the control can adjust, that is the whole repair.

### One oven of the two works and the other does not.

That is a helpful split. In a double cabinet the two cavities share a control board and a supply but have their own elements, sensors and door switches, so one dead cavity points down and one dead pair points up. Say which one and whether it is bake, broil or both.

### There is a camera in mine and it has stopped working.

On the AI models the camera is a convenience feature and not part of cooking, so an oven with a dead camera is still an oven. It is usually a connectivity or firmware matter rather than hardware, and it is worth checking for an update before anyone is called out.
